Drudge as cartoon voice?

I was listening to Drudge Radio tonight and thinking that Matt Drudge would have a great voice for a cartoon. It’s just quirky and non-serious enough to make a great character. Hey, maybe he could even play a funny news reporter…

Lance, you’re just now realizing Matt’s special gift? :) He does have quite a diverse vocal range depending on his mood.

Some newsgrous online have attributed the Drudge sound as evidence those gay rumors, but the nasal quality is actually a regional accent around Ohio/Pennsylvania/Maryland (Matt himself hails from right outside DC). Anyway, I LOVE to hear him riled up.

Judging from invitations he’s turned down (game shows, etc.) and the stuff he’s said in his book (he’ll never do Survivor, blah blah blah) we’re highly unlikely to see him animated. He seems pretty allergic to that kind of brand extension.

I’ve always thought his voice was a bit funny and distictive, just that night the cartoon image hit me. Thanks for the extra insight, by the way.
