Story of the year

I think the tsunami story may be the big story of the year for Drudge. He recently had a poll about the top headline and it had the election, Dan Rather, etc. But I think this story has come in and blown those away. Drudge has had this as the lead headline for 4 days straight…

“Dashing” pic of Drudge front & center. A link to Google Zeitgeist (search trends), where Drudge is outpacing Stern and other notables as a search keyword. Rare glimpse of Drudge-as-celeb here, or sign of things to come?

Euthanasia story

This story was just right up Matt Drudge’s alley. Netherlands hospital euthanizes terminally ill babies. And the real shocker is that they’d already been doing it for a while before they announced it. Humankind on the brink of tragedy, euthanasia on every streetcorner soon. Chaos… No worries, Matt Drudge exposed it in the infant stages. Pun intended.

(And that red headline grabs attention and is a refreshing dose of color. Ahh.)
