Notice Anything Different About Drudge?

By RegoPark

It has now been three months since Matt Drudge’s one and only employee flew the coop for his old roost at Arianna Huffington’s barnyard. Andrew Breitbart worked roughly 22 hours a week on the Drudge Report, apparently in the mornings (Pacific Time). I can remember Lance’s DrudgeBlog entry from last year about how Matt only seemed to be updating the site 5 1/2 days a week. Now, at last interview, he claims to work 14 hours a day. He now has Internet access in his car, which didn’t make me feel very safe on the highways of Miami Beach during last month’s vacation.

Share your thoughts: do you notice a difference in the Drudge Report since last March — either in the quantity, quality or style of links or postings? I wonder where Andrew ended and Drudge began. Do you think the site has been affected since Matt has been on his own?

  1. Lance says:

It seems like stories are lingering a bit longer on the Drudge Report now. But it could just be my perception. It was a slow week this week also.
