More on Breitbart.com
Matt Drudge is using Breitbart.com to link to many of his wire stories now. So, he’ll be giving a tremendous amount of traffic and potential ad revenue to Breitbart.com…to his partner and pal. It’s very close to just bringing it all “in house” instead of linking to the story on MyWay, Yahoo! or others as he’s always done. Matt would probably run the wire-driven site himself if he had time. But this is pretty close and a major change in the way he does business.

An excellent human resources move… of course, Andrew is one of the Drudge Report’s most valuable commodities simply because he’s someone whom Matt trusts and is sympatico with. I don’t see Matt poring over resumes, ever.
I wonder what Matt would have eventually done if Andrew never rejoined him. Right now, of course, Matt can sit in front of the computer all day, because he’s single and healthy with good eyesight and no kids. He’d either have to get more help or scale down the site activity.
In any case, it behooves Matt to throw Andrew whatever bones he can think of.
Incidentally, Andrew is an ex-Arianna researcher and co-author of Hollywood, Interrupted.

I went to a link from Drudge to breitbart.com (not noticing which site it was linked to) and got hit with three spyware programs that my anti-virus detected. They got loaded anyway and I had to uninstall them. Later I noticed which site I was going to this time and it was breitbart.com — BAM, spyware loaded onto my machine again (without being prompted, it just installed by going to the site). I wonder how much revenue they are sharing from this scam. Is it legal to load spyware without being asked? I don’t think so . . .
