Thanks for your valuable Drudge insights. Has anyone else noticed that Matt studiously avoids headlining virtually everything having to do with the Iraq war? Nothing about death counts, American or Iraqi. Nothing about negative assessments by high ranking military officials re: how the war is going.

Check out the lower right corner of the Drudge Report page under “The List”. You might be interested to know that in an interview in Radar, 2003 (available online) Matt said that he was very much on the fence about the war and his choices probably echoed his ambivalence. “But I don’t have to be clear,” he said. “I’m not a politician.”
Also keep in mind that he’s obsessed with what the mainstream media is NOT covering.
I don’t think he’s deliberately avoiding war headlines, but I’ll check out Drudge Report Archives and see if there’s a pattern.
